The portfolio is designed for investors focused on generating returns from a combination of income and capital growth. Such investors have a higher risk tolerance than a conservative investor, but a lower risk appetite than a high-growth investor.
Their time horizon is typically medium-to-long term, and their financial position provides some flexibility to meet their financial goals.
The portfolio aims to outperform the RBA cash rate plus 2.5%, over five years, after fees.
It is intended to have a medium-high level of risk in the portfolio with the estimated likelihood of a negative annual return being 3 to less than 4 years in 20.
Ord Minnett seeks to add value through its longer-term strategic asset allocation positioning and shorter-term tactical-dynamic asset allocation positioning to take advantage of expected shorter-term moves in asset prices and security selection.
