Looking for strong, positive returns (10-20% p.a.) net of fees? The Westbourne Absolute Return Fund targets this through a unique three-step process combining technical and fundamental analysis of Australian stocks.
Managed by an experienced team with a focus on capital preservation, the Fund offers monthly withdrawals and annual distributions. Invest for 3-5 years and potentially benefit from our market-agnostic approach, even including short selling for both profit and risk reduction.
We're committed to our investors and donate 1.25% of funds under management to charity, funded by us, not you.
Target high returns with lower risk. Invest in Westbourne Absolute Return Fund today.
The Fund aims to generate high positive annualised returns of between 10% and 20% over the medium to long term regardless of equity market movements and without excess risk. We hope to generate these returns by initially focusing on technical analysis of predominantly Australian listed shares. We follow our technical awareness with a deep fundamental and psychological analysis. The Fund is suited to investors that have a medium to longer term investment horizon (three to five years). The Fund can also engage in short selling, which may be done both for the purpose of generating positive returns and reducing risk to the portfolio.
Our investment process, including our risk management system, has been built on a foundation of knowledge from almost twenty years of global capital markets experience. This knowledge and learned behaviour include trading through the GFC, European crisis and other highly volatile market environments.
The investment decisions for the Fund are the responsibility of myself, Charlie Burgess, Founding Director. With almost 20 years’ experience in capital markets, I began my career at Citi London in equity research before moving to the proprietary/funds management platform where I actively managed more than $200m. During my 10 years in London, I actively traded on behalf of the banks and clients’ capital across multiple asset classes and regions, culminating as Director and Head of the Resources pod across equities and derivatives. Post returning to Australian shores, Westbourne Asset Management was created. Westbourne has since managed a multi-strategy fund within Australian equities as well as multiple private unlisted investments.
Separately and philanthropically, Westbourne Asset Management, as the Investment Manager of the Fund, will donate a minimum of 1.25% of funds under management to our charity partners annually.
Importantly, this donation is derived from Westbourne and its partners, not the investor.
The Fund’s primary objective is to generate high positive returns of between 10% p.a. and 20% p.a. net of fees and expenses over the medium to long term regardless of equity market movements and without excess risk. The Fund prioritises capital management to avoid major drawdown during volatile times. The focus of the Fund’s capital is on listed Australian equities.
The Fund can also engage in short selling, which may be done both for the purpose of generating positive returns and reducing risk to the portfolio.
