Quick snapshot status of two of our investments:

 

1. Bridging loan for exclusive Mosman property - The Trust offered investors two priorities for greater choice based on their risk tolerance, with forecasted cash distributions of 8.4% to 12% p.a. variable paid monthly in arrears across the 12-month investment term of the Trust.

 

 

 

2. Bridging finance for a luxury Sydney property - The Trust has forecasted cash distributions as 9.00% p.a. variable paid monthly in arrears across the 9 month investment term of the Trust.

EG’s proprietary Risk Management software drives success EG’s PRISMS® is a data driven investment platform developed by EG for identifying, pricing and managing commercial real estate risk.

 

PRISMS applies a highly quantitative approach to assessing risk and ensures that all prospective investments are considered in a systematic manner. PRISMS® directs the focus away from headline returns and towards the asset’s Risk Return Ratio; i.e. the number of risk points for each one percentage point in equity returns forecast in the base case financial model.

 

This is analogous to the Sharpe Ratio in equities analysis and enables the evaluation of investments across strategies, sectors and geographies.

 

Michael overviews EG’s strategic direction, maintaining a strong engagement with the detail of our projects. His experience in infrastructure, funds management and property development runs deep.

 

Until February 2022, Michael was the independent Chair of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA). A Director of digital twin technology companies Willow and Reveal, Michael is the current President of the Australia Defence Association, and a Director of the Ramsay Centre for Western Civilisation. Past directorships include the ACT’s City Renewal Authority, ING RE, Macquarie Infrastructure Group, Macquarie Goodman, State Super, NRMA Insurance, ActewAGL, IconWater, State Rail Authority of NSW, Sydney Metro Transport and ANZ (2000 Olympic) Stadium.

 

Qualifications: BA (First Class Hons), MSc, PhD, FAICD, FRICS

 

As the co-founder and CEO of EG, Adam is the driving force behind the vision and strategic direction of the company.

 

With a passion for team culture, Adam maintains an overall focus on guiding, leading and training the team.

 

He is also the head of EGX, a venture capital arm of EG that focuses on investments in proptech and fintech companies that can assist EG to secure a competitive advantage.

 

Qualifications: BEcon (Hons) Law (Hons)

 

Rodney is a Divisional Director and Head of EG’s Private Wealth division.

 

He is determined to grow the wealth of EG’s wholesale investor clients by combining the rigor of several decades’ experience with the hunger and agility of an entrepreneur.

 

During his tenure, Rodney has been at the forefront of EG’s expansion into proptech and fintech innovation and acquisitions, which notably led to EG’s investment in global technology platform Willow Inc.

 

Qualifications: BAcc Sc, CPA

Adrian Lee

 

Adrian is a Chief Financial Officer.

 

Adrian is responsible for the financial, accounting and debt financing functions of EG and across its managed funds. He has been integrally involved in and led over $1.5 billion in debt funding deals. Adrian also assists with operations, compliance and reporting across all parts of our client portfolios.

 

Qualifications: B Comm Acc, Dip Applied Finance and Investment

Chris Pak

 

Chris is our  Joint Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer.

 

Chris brings a depth of experience in capital transactions, investment, and asset management services to EG as he works across various market opportunities. Chris utilises his extensive relationships with offshore and institutional investors to assist the team in building impactful and lasting industry connections.

 

With over 25 years’ experience in the real estate investment industry, Chris has worked across a unique variety of fields throughout his career, including roles in finance, corporate real estate and shopping centre and asset management at Challenger, Colonial First State and Westfield.

 

Qualifications: BBus (Retail Management), AssocDipBus (Accounting)
