Thinktank High Yield Trust summary:
What is the High Yield Trust’s investment strategy?
To invest in Mortgage Backed Securities issued by other Think Tank managed vehicles where Think Tank considers (in its absolute discretion) the risk and return of those securities are similar to the other assets held in the High Yield Trust and cash.
Investment Term
The minimum investment term is 12 months. At the end of the minimum investment term, you may request redemption of your Bonds and the Issuer will redeem your Bonds subject to there being sufficient funds in the relevant Trust available for that purpose. If you do not request redemption of your Bonds, then your Bonds will be subject to a minimum investment term of a further 12 months.
No fees are charged upon subscription or maturity of the Bonds. However, an Early Termination Fee may be payable if our Bonds are redeemed at your request (with the agreement of the Manager) before the end of their minimum term.
Think Tank, as Manager, will source Mortgage Backed Securities for investment by the High Yield Trust. It is these assets that provide the underlying cashflows and liquidity to support the payment of interest and return on principal on your High Yield Bonds.
Mortgage Backed Securities
The Manager will acquire Mortgage Backed Securities that, in the Manager’s view, are consistent with the risk and return profile of the other assets within the High Yield Trust. These Mortgage Backed Securities are issued by other Thinktank managed trusts and fund loans originated by Thinktank.
No assurance can be provided about the actual performance (including as to margin, rate of return and repayment) of any Mortgage Backed Securities acquired by the High Yield Trust. The Manager does not accept responsibility for the performance of the Mortgage Backed Securities.
Loans
The High Yield Trust can also invest directly in loans originated by Thinktank however the intention is for loans to be less than 10% of the assets of the High Yield Trust although at any given time the proportion may be higher.
