This fund presents a strategic plan to capitalise on Australia's fragmented professional services market. It is a unit trust designed to acquire and grow profitable firms in financial advice, wealth management, and accounting, with the objective of delivering a 20%+ per annum net return to investors.

 

The fund is managed by Oreana, a leading financial services group. A key differentiator is that the strategy extends beyond simple capital investment; it actively integrates portfolio companies into the Oreana ecosystem. These companies are provided with the operational, technological, and strategic support needed to accelerate growth and enhance their valuations. The portfolio is anchored by foundational investments in Oreana's own network firms, which already support over 100 advisers, providing immediate scale and a proprietary pipeline.

 

Investment Objective 

The investment objective of the Fund is to invest in equity  interests, of professional services firms in Australia, with an aim  to provide a 20%+ per annum net returns to investors.


 Investment Strategy

The Fund strategically invests in operational businesses that provide Financial Advice, Wealth Management, Insurance, Mortgage Broking, Accounting and related professional industry services. Portfolio companies are committed to growth and long-term value creation by delivering exceptional services and capabilities and via M&A activity.
 

The Fund predominantly invests in established and profitable small to mid-tier professional services firms across Australia, while also exploring larger strategic opportunities.

Through the Holding Company, the Fund will invest in the  equity of professional services firms in Australia that provide financial advice. It may also invest in professional services firms that provide wealth management, insurance, mortgage broking, accounting and other related professional services.

 

The Fund will also invest in Oreana Partnerships Pty Ltd ABN 21 686 804 142, ("Oreana Partnerships"), a Sydney- based firm that supports a network of over 100 financial advisers across 35 practices. Oreana Partnerships focuses on transforming financial advisory practices by leveraging advanced technology and strategic expertise to drive growth, streamline operations, and enhance client outcomes.

 

In addition, the Fund will invest in Oreana Private Pty Ltd  ABN 30 647 833 958 as a Corporate Authorised Representative (“CAR”) (CAR number 001288628) of OFSL ("Oreana Private"), a boutique Australian wealth management firm specialising in tailored, values- based advice for individuals and families. Oreana Private offers clients access to a broad range of financial services and solutions, underpinned by extensive industry experience.

 

Both Oreana Partnerships and Oreana Private are related  entities and members of the Oreana Group.

Luke drives Oreana’s investment capability with a focus on starting and investing in growth opportunities across diverse sectors, with a focus on financial services, real estate, and early education. Previously, Luke held senior roles at prominent institutional and boutique investment firms in Australia and Asia.

 

Jonathan Christie oversees the operations and growth of Oreana’s financial services businesses in Australia. With 16 years in banking and wealth management across the UK and Australia, he brings expertise in private banking, investment, superannuation, and financial planning. Previously, Jonathan was General Manager of Wealth Services at NAB Private, overseeing wealth advice, markets, FX, and trustee services for complex clients. He has chaired Calibre Asset Management, the NAB Private Investment Committee, and previously served on the National Australia Trustee Board.

 

Ben Canagasabey has over 25 years of experience in Global Asset Management and Custody Administration, holding senior roles at top-tier firms. He specialises in product development, operational efficiency, and financial reporting to enhance transparency and compliance. Ben holds a Bachelor of Business, an MBA from Melbourne Business School, and is a CPA member.

 

Daniel Huxley leads Oreana’s tailored wholesale investment strategies for sophisticated and family office investors across APAC. With over 25 years in financial services, he has deep expertise in investment markets, asset selection, and distribution strategy. Previously, Daniel held senior roles at Ausbil Investment Management and BT Financial Group, expanding client assets and strengthening relationships with high-net-worth and institutional clients. He holds a Master of Business with Merit from Newcastle University and a Diploma of Financial Markets from FINSIA.
